On the road from Mountain Meadow to the park.
We stopped at the Trail of the Cedars Nature Trail. I walked the loop and a little way up Avalanche Creek towards Avalanche Lake.
Back on the road we were passed by a parade of old cars.
Down there in the valley is where we were a couple of miles ago.
The Going to the Sun Road is also known as the Don't Look Down Road. Camille doesn't like heights. She didn't get out of the truck.
This couple set up their tripod for a self portrait right behind the truck. I waited for them to finish so I didn't roll back on their tripod. They are originally from Valdosta, Ga.
Camille she still don't get out of the truck.
The road ahead (upper left).
The parking lot at the Logan Pass Visitors Center was full. After circling a couple of times I let Camille out to visit the facilities while I continued to circle. When she got back we noticed several other vehicles stopping to pick up their p'ers.
Out of the park on the east side at Saint Mary. I was surprised by the lack of development on the east side. Basically there was this complex offering everything a traveler needed.
Lower Two Medicine Lake from Mt Highway 49. Mt 49 was a scenic ride.
We stopped at Goat Lick overlook. Didn't see and Mountain Goats down at the lick, but there was a mother & baby sunning up on the rocks.
Where is that 12x zoom, 5 MP camera!
They built sheds to keep the snow off the railroad tracks. I learned that on the History Channel.
