We went over to Keystone and came back via Needles Highway.
A quick stop in Custer to mail some stuff and take a picture of the...
The Crazy Horse Memorial. We didn't visit.
Keystone is a full bore tourist town. Lot's of bikers.
When we were in Texas this winter there were a lot of "Welcome Winter Texans" signs. All over the Black Hills we saw "Welcome Sturgis Bikers." Sturgis, population 6,400 was expecting over 500,000 bikers for the Sturgis Motor Cycle Rally the second week in August. There were a lot of bikers already there. The Black Hills has lots of interesting roads for motor cycles.
On the way to Needles Highway, we stopped at the George Washington Profile Scenic View.
Needles Highway was interesting. Suddenly we came upon what appeared at first to be a parking lot. It was actually a tunnel.
Those are LITTLE cars. Getting the truck through there was a challenge. I scraped the mirrows on Camilles side.
I guess this is "the" needle.
